David Johnson, DDS

Since he began practicing general dentistry in 1987, Dr. David Johnson has focused on developing long-term connections with patients and helping them attain a healthy mouth and smile. He knows how he likes to be treated when he’s the one in the dental chair, so he reliably takes care of his patients with great care, compassion, and concern for their comfort and well-being.

Dr. Johnson attended the University of California, Davis and graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry. He then graduated from dental school at Georgetown University. After dental school, Dr. Johnson became the second owner of Annapolis Family Dentistry. He acquired the practice from a retiring dentist, and for more than 30 years he’s concentrated on providing the highest quality dental work, so patients benefit from long-lasting results.

He believes that to be a great dentist you have to stay current on treatment techniques, you have to be good with your hands, and you must have good judgment. But most importantly, you have to take the time to listen to your patients, so you understand what they want and why they want it. In Dr. Johnson’s opinion, this is the only way to determine how to make them healthy and happy effectively. 

Over the years, Dr. Johnson has happily spent his time building Annapolis Family Dentistry into a thriving dental practice where patients genuinely enjoy their visit, feel relaxed, and know they are receiving exceptional dental care. He looks forward to watching Annapolis Family Dentistry grow and evolve into the future.

In his spare time, Dr. Johnson enjoys playing golf, visiting the beach, watching football, and reading. He and his wife of more than 30 years, Lisa, enjoy exploring and traveling to the beautiful beaches in the Carolinas and Florida. One of his favorite things about practicing as a dentist for three decades has been seeing families grow and change over the years.
